Incense Dish Workshop
Incense Dish Making Workshop (2 Hours)
Join us for a playful, creative 2-hour incense dish workshop where you’ll design and make your very own incense stick holder from stoneware clay. This relaxed session is all about self-expression, experimentation, and having fun with surface decoration; no experience needed.
You’ll be guided step by step through forming your incense holder, then encouraged to make it completely your own using a mix of 2D and 3D decorative techniques. Personalise your piece with letter stamps, colourful underglazes, or add texture and dimension through sculpting and sprig moulds.
Whether your style leans:
Gothic – think dark motifs, lettering, moons, or spooky ghosts
Whimsical – playful shapes, stars, mushrooms, dots, and dreamy colour palettes
Minimalist – clean lines, subtle textures, and soft neutral tones
Playful – bold colours, fun words, or quirky sculpted elements
There’s no right or wrong, I’ve made sure this workshop is about making something that feels you.
What’s included:
2-hour guided workshop
All clay, tools, underglazes, and materials
Firing of your finished piece
Once complete, your incense holder will be professionally fired and ready to collect in 3–5 weeks.
A perfect workshop for beginners, a fun outing with friends or a family member, a fun creative reset, or anyone looking to make a small but meaningful ceramic piece to enjoy at home or gift to someone special.
