Create Your Own Ceramic Altar Workshop.
Join us for a soulful, hands-on workshop where you'll design and build your very own ceramic altar or self-care shrine — a meaningful piece to hold space for your rituals, intentions, or daily reflections.
In this creative session, you'll be guided through the process of hand building a wall-hanging or freestanding altar, perfect for displaying candles, crystals, cherished curiosities, or other sacred items. Whether you're creating a personal meditation nook or a heartfelt gift, your finished piece will be both functional and deeply personal.
You'll also have time to personalise your altar using decorative slip techniques, adding words, patterns, and symbolic elements that reflect your unique journey.
This workshop is all about slowing down, tuning in, and making something beautiful with intention and heart. All levels welcome — no prior clay experience needed!
No experience is necessary and suitable for beginners.
What is included?
A 2.5 hour lesson with a tutor with 12+ years of teaching experience. This will include an informative demonstration.
Aprons, tools and materials are included.
Free tea and coffee facilities.
You will create 1 altar on the day which I will glaze and fire your work later at the appropriate time.
What is not included?
Your final design(s) of how you will paint your altar. This is your own personal choice and creative freedom. However I will send you a link to a curated inspiration board before the workshop to help you form ideas.

This is priced at £65 per person. To secure a group booking for 2-4 people, please select a quantity of 2-4 in the box below.
Your work will be ready to collect from the studio 4-6 weeks time and you will be notified by email to arrange a suitable collection time.

Your purchase secures your place – we cannot reserve places without full payment.
You have 7 days to cancel your booking. After this time, no refunds will be offered but bookings can be amended up to 28 days prior to your booking. After this time, no refunds or amendments are permitted.
This is an open style event and not a private booking so you may find there are up to 1 more attendees on the same booking if there are spaces left.
If we cancel or alter the session, a full refund or the option to rearrange will be offered.
Group bookings
Your purchase secures your group's place – we cannot reserve places without full payment.
Group bookings are for a maximum of 4 participants. Due to space, no more than this will be permitted.
Individual places on a group booking will not be refunded. If a member of your party can no longer attend, it will be up to you to fill this space or pay the ticket of the missing party member.
If we cancel or alter the session, a full refund or the option to rearrange will be offered.
If you cancel a booking less than one month before the class, the entire booking cost still applies. No refunds will be given.
